Driver - Part-time

Duties (NOT ALL INCLUSIVE):

• Operates passenger cars and other light automotive equipment in transporting internal and/or external guests and/or supplies to designated locations.
• Picks up internal and/or external guests, equipment, loads and unloads baggage/supplies to designated locations.
• Ensures timely pick up for all internal and external guests.
• Check automotive equipment to determine that is supplied with fuel and lubricants, that tires are properly inflated, and lights and safety devices are in proper order.
• Communicate problems/issues with vehicle to supervisor.
• Change tires and make minor repairs and adjustments to the vehicle and/or take to automotive shop to have repairs completed.
• Cleans interior and exterior of the vehicle, including waxing and polishing exterior surfaces.
• Operate all vehicles according to traffic laws and regulations and demonstrates safe driving practices.
• Maintains trip records of all information required by operating procedures, utilizing the company’s software.
• Ensure to be knowledgeable on company’s excursions and activities as well as knowledge on the surrounding areas for both St. Thomas and St. John.
• Ensure to provide a handover to the hotel upon arrival and three things noted about the guest for maximum guest experience.
• Other projects and/or duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its' equivalent from an accredited institution (Preferred)
• Previous experience in customer service and/or equivalent work experience PLUS
• Must provide local criminal background check through VIPD
• Valid USVI Drivers License
