Job DetailsJob Location: Modern Mazda - Thomaston, CT 06787 Acquire and maintain product knowledge and promotional information on all vehicles Stay up to date with training provided by dealership and manufacturer Have knowledge of competitor products and pricing to compare and educate customers on the benefits of our product and brand over the others Follow up with customer before, during and after the sale to ensure superior customer service Present a positive image of the retail facility, both in physical appearance and friendly attitude Communicate closely with sales managers to determine sales goals and methods by which these goals will be met Handle administrative requirements of the sale when requested: examples, but not limited to: requesting paperwork or documentation from the customer that relates to the sale Assist sales department with overflow: examples, but not limited to: Setting customers up with test drives, greeting customers, etc. Maintain knowledge and follow regulations regarding safeguarding customer information, OFAC, 8300 cash reporting and all other best practice regulations required by law and trained through our COMPLI system If the delivery coordinator is unavailable ensure the customer has a comfortable working knowledge of the technology in the vehicle. Ensure first service appointment is made and customer has been introduced to the service department. Qualifications Excellent communication skills Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Excellent sales skills Ability to address customer hesitation and resistance Ability to prioritize tasks Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment Maintain survey scores, to be at or above district level
