POSITION SUMMARY:

ESSENTIALS FUNCTIONS:

         Delegates tasks and work assignments to team members by giving clear and concise direction and           follow up to ensure proper execution.

         Ensure adherence of all standard operating procedures and processes by team members, following up to provide training and guidance when needed.

         Maintains visual presentation standards including in-store signage, proper execution of merchandise directives and planograms, merchandise recovering/front facing and general daily recovery ensuring a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.

         Ensures nightly replenishment of sales floor from backstock inventory, as well as new replenishment from the Distribution Centers and direct vendor deliveries.

         Supports inventory management in partnership with the Inventory Control team by completing on demand counts, empty peg scanning, pick requests, display integrities, etc. during off peak business overnight. 

         Supports the Management team with coordination of all “Special Events”; maintenance of pricing and UPC integrity; determining proper assortments; accuracy of inventory; proper display, tagging, signing and pricing of all advertised items.

         Supports the Management team in carrying out Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s policies including training, planning, assigning and directing work, evaluating performance, and maintaining a positive work environment.

         Assists the Management team and Human Resources Representative to staff the department with “service” oriented associates; participates in interviewing and makes recommendations for selection; coordinates training; consults with the Management team and gives input on preparation of performance appraisals; prepares weekly work schedules; coaches and motivates associates to promote positive customer relations and a productive team-oriented work environment.

         Ensure all breaks and lunches are provided for overnight Outfitters in accordance with all state and local regulations.

         ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • Years of experience: Two years

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

  • Ability to use System Two and RF/Gizmo devices.

  • Ability to review and set planograms and visual merchandising directives.

  • Ability to identify and replenish out of stock or low stock inventory.

  • Ability to communicate with retail sales floor outfitters and leadership on price changes and replenishment. 

  • Ability to work overnight shifts.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • N/A

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Regular computer work, walking, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:

  • Performs tasks and duties under direct supervision, using well-defined policies and procedures. Work is reviewed by supervisor. Limited opportunity exists for exercising independent judgment and decision making.

Starting Pay Rate: $16.00 - $18.75
