Maintenance Technician

Job DetailsJob Location: Thorp, WI 54771Job Category: ManufacturingPay and Shift Pay: $24.00-$29.00 per hour Shift: 1st Shift 5am – 3:30pm   Monitor and remove waste from production workstations and dispose of materials in the appropriate waste streams. Sort scrap materials and load designated trailers using a forklift. Sweep and maintain production areas, exterior grounds, and the area surrounding the sawdust trailer. Perform general facility housekeeping and maintenance to ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Assist with preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities as directed. Support the installation, repair, and upkeep of facility equipment and property. Assist with painting, minor building repairs, and other general maintenance projects as assigned. Follow all safety procedures, wear required PPE and maintain a safe work environment. Support other team members through collaboration and communication. Day-to-day direction provided by supervisor. Physical Requirements And Preferred QualificationsPreferred Qualifications One year of maintenance or facilities experience preferred. High school diploma or GED preferred. Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, and twisting throughout the shift.
