About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and creative Product Design Intern to join our team for the summer. This role is ideal for a Junior or Senior-level student passionate about product development, design thinking, and bringing ideas to life. You will work closely with our design and engineering teams to support the development of innovative products from concept through execution.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct product market and competitive set research, analyzing trends, materials, and user needsÂ
- Assist in concept development and ideation, generating innovative design solutionsÂ
- Create and iterate on concept designs and revisions based on team feedbackÂ
- Develop high-quality product renderings and presentations for internal reviewsÂ
- Support the creation of 3D CAD models and technical drawingsÂ
- Apply DFMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly) principles in design workÂ
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, design, engineering, and other teamsÂ
- Participate in problem-solving sessions and contribute creative ideasÂ
- Assist in preparing documentation and materials for product development milestonesÂ

Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related fieldÂ
- Must be a Junior or Senior-level studentÂ
- Basic understanding of how products are designed and manufacturedÂ
- Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCad, or similar)Â
- Strong problem-solving and ideation skillsÂ
- Ability to communicate ideas visually and verballyÂ
- Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn and take feedbackÂ

- Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and prototyping methodsÂ
- Experience creating presentation decks or design storytellingÂ
