We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Embryologist to join our lab team at our Thousand Oaks, CA location on a full-time basis. What You'll Do Identify and move oocytes in follicular fluid using a dissecting microscope, and conduct daily assessments of patient embryos using an inverted microscope. Load embryos into a catheter and assist the physician with handling and positioning as needed. Perform zona ablation on oocytes and embryos using medical grade laser technology. Execute freezing and thawing processes for surplus oocytes and embryos, and monitor liquid nitrogen storage. Label and prepare culture dishes with sterile technique for next day procedures. Stock supplies, perform quality control tests, and maintain lab equipment. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences with Technical Supervisor (ABB) certification, Master's degree in Biological Sciences, or Ph.D. in Biological Sciences. Strong attention to detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, and fine motor skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a team based environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Working Conditions This position requires working primarily under microscopes in the IVF laboratory, following strict lab protocols and working with liquid nitrogen and other specialized equipment. Schedule This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with rotating weekend and holiday coverage. Weekend coverage occurs approximately twice per month, with shifts generally beginning around 7:00 a.m. depending on procedure times.
