HVAC Installer

Job description

We are seeking for an Installer to install HVAC equipment in customers' homes, including furnaces, air handlers, indoor coils, UV lights, air cleaners, and dehumidifiers, working under minimum supervision. They also install outdoor coils and outdoor units and repair refrigerants, thermal expansion valves, compressors, etc.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install heating, air conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration equipment, and other products in residential homes.
• Assembled, installed, serviced, and repaired air conditioning refrigeration ducts.
• Assist crew leader with the installation of air conditioning units and furnaces.
• Must be able to manage and install heating and air conditioning equipment.
• Must demonstrate the knowledge and ability to use all hand and power tools associated with the type of work performed.
• Assess systems to determine repair vs. replacement.
• Install all mechanical and HVAC equipment types and associated ductwork and components for commercial and industrial buildings.
• Able to perform material take-offs and order necessary materials.
• Must have experience with working on construction sites and occupied spaces.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 1 year of experience installing. Able to tolerate temperatures above 100 for extended periods in summer months.
• Receive, verify, and load all equipment and materials needed for each job.
• Able to continually climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
• 1+ years of Duct installation.
• EPA certification is a strong plus.
• Work safely following company policies and wear personal protective equipment.
• Must have prior, successful experience as an Installer in residential, construction sites, and occupied spaces.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
