We are seeking a passionate, creative, and nurturing Preschool Teacher to join our exceptional early childhood program in Thousand Oaks. What You'll Do
- Create a warm, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based learning experiences
- Foster children's social-emotional growth, confidence, and independence
- Observe, document, and support each child's individual development
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Maintain a safe, healthy, and organized classroom environment
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities
- Collaborate with teaching teams and administration to support classroom goals and school initiatives
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events
- Communicate regularly with families regarding children's progress and experiences
Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education units required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or a related field preferred
- Previous preschool teaching experience
- Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices
- Experience in a play-based learning environment preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
- Current Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
