We are seeking a passionate, creative, and nurturing Preschool Teacher to join our exceptional early childhood program in Thousand Oaks. What You'll Do

  •  Create a warm, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment 
  •  Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based learning experiences 
  •  Foster children's social-emotional growth, confidence, and independence 
  •  Observe, document, and support each child's individual development 
  •  Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues 
  •  Maintain a safe, healthy, and organized classroom environment 
  •  Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities 
  •  Collaborate with teaching teams and administration to support classroom goals and school initiatives 
  •  Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events 
  •  Communicate regularly with families regarding children's progress and experiences 
Qualifications

  •  Minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education units required 
  •  Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or a related field preferred 
  •  Previous preschool teaching experience 
  •  Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices 
  •  Experience in a play-based learning environment preferred 
  •  Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills 
  •  Current Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
