Whatyou willdo:Â
Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, offer letter, employment changes, and HR documentationÂ
Maintain accurate employee data and workflows in Workday and ADP, ensuring data integrity and complianceÂ
Prepare, process, and verify semi-monthly payroll for the U.S. (and Canada), including new hires, terminations, promotions, salary changes, and leaves of absenceÂ
Partner with Finance to reconcile payroll reports, support audits, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and provincial regulationsÂ
Oversee benefits administration and support benefit renewals, including health, dental, vision, RRSP, 401(k), and leave programsÂ
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and deductionsÂ
Track benefit elections and life events, and coordinate with brokers and vendors as neededÂ
Maintain HR policies, templates, SOPs, I-9 verification, and mandatory training complianceÂ
Collaborate with the Global HR team on compensation cycles, promotions, system improvements, and process optimization initiativesÂ
What we are looking for:Â
Have at least 5 years of experience in payroll and benefits administrationÂ
Proven experience processing payroll in US, with Canada payroll experience a plus.
Excellent understanding of international benefitsÂ
Familiarity with tools like Workday, ADP Workforce Now, ADP Teampay is an assetÂ
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independentlyÂ
Knowledge of employment standards, tax regulations, and benefits complianceÂ
Strong organizational and analytical skills Â
Experience in Multi-Entity Environment is a plusÂ
Fluent in English; German and French is a plusÂ
Salary Range*:
USD 100,000 – 135,000
*Salaries at Maxon are based on a candidate's specific criteria including experience, skillset, education and location. Maxon uses industry-driven survey data for building compensation structures to make sure our employees are receiving fair and competitive wages.
