Job Summary
We are seeking a responsible and experienced Class A CDL Driver to safely transport goods and materials over long and short distances. This position requires adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations and company policies related to vehicle operation, safety, and load handling.

Responsibilities
- Load, secure, transport, and deliver items to customers in a safe and timely manner.
- Review orders before and after delivery to ensure they are complete and meet customer satisfaction.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and professionally handling complaints.
- Operate commercial motor vehicles (tractor-trailer) in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Adhere to assigned routes and follow delivery time schedules.
- Perform pre-trip, in-transit, and post-trip inspections of vehicle and cargo.
- Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a clean and safe driving record.
- Safely operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery when necessary.
- Maintain accurate driving logs, inspection reports, delivery documentation, and time records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers.
- Comply with Hours of Service (HOS) regulations and ensure vehicles meet maintenance standards.
- Represent the company in a professional manner with both internal teams and external customers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Current Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- Valid Indiana or Michigan Driver’s License
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience driving commercial trailers
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Strong time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to complete required paperwork accurately and on time
- Demonstrated commitment to regular attendance and reliability
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)

- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including:
- Sitting for extended periods
- Walking, standing, bending, stooping, and climbing
- Frequent lifting of heavy items (up to 35 lbs or more)
