Job Description Summary

In the role of Industrial Engineering College Co- Op, students will aid plant Industrial Engineers with basic I.E. functions such as plant layouts, job instruction updates, and lean manufacturing implementation.

Job Description:

  • Create / modify operator Job Instructions in MS Word documents. Work with operators and engineers to document operations.
  • Assist with OEE data collection.  Helps to identify loss areas and opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct time studies, and cycle time checks.
  • Conduct delay studies to loss areas and opportunities for improvement.
  • All other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Education

  • B.S. degree in-progress with a graduation date of December 2026 or later. (Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, Manufacturing Engineering preferred)
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited University full-time.
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 25 hours per week.
  • Strong computer skills especially in Microsoft applications and AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes with emphasis on lean manufacturing concepts.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Must be able to work in the US without Visa sponsorship
