Job Title: Pressure Washing Crew Lead

Location: 5100 Tice Street (Fort Myers, FL)

Employment Type: Full-Time / Hourly / Schedule: 4pm-2:30am

Goodwill Southwest Florida is seeking a Pressure Washing Crew Lead to support custodial and exterior cleaning services across multiple sites. Under the direction of the Contract Services Manager, the Pressure Washing Crew Lead is responsible for operating and maintaining all equipment and vehicles used in pressure washing. Also responsible for the transportation of equipment and personnel to and from, as well as the set-up of each scheduled job, performs manual work associated with all pressure washing activities, organizing the work of other crew members, ensuring that all safety and policies are followed, all required training is being completed for the work crew and all quality standards are met.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensures all safety policies and guidelines are followed.
2. Ensure that all quality standards and customer expectations are met.
3. Maintain, lubricate, test and repair pressure washing equipment and accessories.
4. Maintain records of all maintenance and repairs of pressure washing equipment and vehicles.
5. Order parts needed for machine repairs. Obtain and present repair cost estimates if needed.
6. Pressure clean surfaces that have been contracted for cleaning.
7. Ensure that proper inventory of spare parts and consumable supplies are available for each job, prior to mobilizing and transportation to the job site.
8. Loads and unloads equipment and supplies from trucks.
9. Operates company van or truck and tow a trailer.
10. Inspect all work prior to demobilizing and leaving a job site to ensure that all of the work has been completed. Interact with the customer to understand their expectations and present the results of the service.
11. Maintaining the daily operations, specific tasks will include supervising pressure washing employees, maintaining time sheets, maintaining safety standards, coordinating logistics of pressure washing routes, monitoring equipment and ensuring that equipment is working properly.
12. Record information on forms or log sheets, and create and provide reports on job status and job billing.
13. Promotion and sales of pressure washing and janitorial services to businesses and commercial companies. Pass along all leads for potential work to Contract Services Manager or Director of Facilities.
14. Follow all standard operating procedures for pressure washing, and make suggestions for improving the procedures.

15. Regular and timely attendance.
16. Performs other duties as assigned, including Custodial Worker duties.
17. Must work flexible schedule based on business needs.

 

Qualifications:

  • Valid Florida driver license with acceptable driving record for insurability by
    organization's insurance carrier.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Two years of verifiable work experience in cleaning or pressure washing preferred.
  • Experience driving pickup truck while towing a trailer.
