Position Summary:
The Patient Services Coordinator responsibility encompasses a variety of administrative support tasks and general office responsibilities. Additionally, this position may represent the clinical facility on the Safety Committee.

RESPONSIBLITIES
Ā
- Serve as a hospitable guide for both the program and the agency; greet visitors and clients warmly, and assist in navigating clients and guests to the appropriate resources or partner agencies.
- Offer document organization and accessibility services for both clients and team members. This encompasses management of medical documents, processing and maintenance of laboratory orders and results, handling of insurance and billing details, distribution of educational program materials, and other dissemination of organizational information as needed.Ā
- Ā Provides support of the intake process across outpatient services (substance use disorder, mental health, medication management, and medication assisted treatment) by verifying clients desire for mental health services, scheduling appointments and updating program information in electronic health record.Ā
- Provide support as needed to clincial staff for conducting UA, ordering labs, or requesting labs from referral sources.Ā
- Manage clientās historical mental health records, physical examination data, consultations, and any test outcomes from past healthcare providers.
- Provide support to operations team as needed including managing the daily mail, printing, faxing, operating phone and online communication systems, maintaining inventory, ensuring a clean/tidy outpatient facility and other day to day activities as assigned.Ā
- Maintain and organize intake and mental health folders, ensuring proper documentation via the electronic health record as well as downtime procedures
- Audit client files, including discharge memos and referent Release of Information forms, and close out past client files
- Coordinate incoming referrals from multiple sources into the clinic scheduling tools and work collaboratively with remote team members in other sites. .Ā
- Collaborate with other internal programs, schedules, and systems in support of outpatient scheduling for clinicians. and add to internal schedules and systems.

⢠High School Diploma or GED required.
⢠Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience preferred.
Experience:

- Medical Office Experience
