Summary

Provide administrative support for the Supply Chain Department in accordance with company policies and procedures.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.

  • Enter data for purchase orders into computer.
  • Send purchase orders to vendors.
  • Create, process, & close work orders for internal materials
  • File purchase orders, requisitions and miscellaneous processing slips in appropriate locations.
  • Create, Monitor, & Report on Material Transfers with Production
  • Enter data for quotes into computer system and file quotes.
  • Assist team with special projects (Supplier Handbook, Organization, Training Manuals, etc.)
  • Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.


Qualifications: Education and/or Experience

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Business or related degree. 
  • A minimum sophomore standing preferred

Other skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office required. Excellent Excel skills are a plus
  • Excellent communication & organizational skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Self-motivated
  • Time management skills: Ability to prioritize, organize, and perform multiple tasks
  • Able to work well within a team, as well as work independently on projects
  • Available to work full-time in the summer
