Job DetailsJob Location: Tifton - Tifton, GA 31793Manage the administrative work flow and paperwork for the Service Department.  Assist the Service Location Manager in maintaining accurate and on-time reports and records relative to the service department’s operation within the dealership.   Responsibilities: Opens work orders as directed by the Service Location Manager and reviews work orders for completeness and accuracy prior to customer billing Assists with the development and implementation of training of service personnel and may complete performance reviews of service staff Assists in the implementation and management of the Service Department’s processes and procedures   Supervises Service Clerks in daily job responsibilities Handles customer calls and schedules Service Technicians Updates customer profiles using equipment, hours, or other information from the customer work orders Assists Service Clerk in creating and transferring JD LINK accounts Prepares Service Technician efficiency reports May assist with Service Technician learning paths Processes warranty and product improvement claims including the computation of charges, submission and follow-up May assist the Service Location Manager in developing, implementing and managing processes and procedures Understands and ensures adherence to corporate and customer data policies Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications 3+ years’ experience as a Service Clerk or equivalent Ability to lead and motivate others Basic knowledge of accounting practices Willingness to learn and work hard Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions, including Lasseter business systems Knowledge of Deere and competitor equipment, and other allied products Ability to work extended hours and weekends and willingness to be on-call 24/7 Knowledge of office procedures General understanding of mechanical/technical terms is preferred High School Diploma or equivalent experience
