The Partners Group currently has an outstanding opportunity for a client-focused retirement plan services professional to join our Retirement Planning team as an Account Manager.

How you will make an impact at TPG
As an Account Manager, you'll serve as a trusted day-to-day partner to retirement plan clients, helping ensure they receive responsive service, thoughtful guidance, and a high-quality experience. Working closely with Retirement Consultants, you'll support plan administration, client deliverables, compliance-related activities, and employee education initiatives that help plan sponsors and participants make informed retirement decisions. Your ability to build relationships, communicate complex concepts clearly, and proactively address client needs will contribute directly to client satisfaction and long-term retention. You'll also help strengthen TPG's reputation for delivering personalized service and practical retirement plan expertise.Â

A typical day in this role
- Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned retirement plan clients and ensure service commitments are met
- Partner with Retirement Consultants to support plan administration, client meetings, and strategic service initiatives
- Prepare presentations, reports, and client deliverables related to plan performance, demographics, and employee education
- Coordinate client and vendor communications, schedule meetings, and follow through on requests and action items
- Conduct employee education sessions and participant meetings focused on enrollment, investments, and retirement savings goals
- Monitor retirement plan compliance requirements and help clients navigate regulatory and administrative considerations

Key details
Title: Account Manager
Location: Portland, Oregon or Renton, WA strongly preferred (in-office with hybrid remote opportunities). Open to considering fully remote for highly qualified individuals (Pacific or Mountain time zones preferred).
Hours: 40 hours/week, Mon-Fri
Salary Range: $70,000-85,000 annually (DOE)
Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for long periods of time, ability to communicate verbally and in writing, and ability to handle long periods of screen time.
Travel: Minimal, if any
Requirements
What you’ll bring to the tableÂ
- 3+ years’ experience in retirement plans, pension services, recordkeeping, or a related retirement industry role
- Series 65 license, or the ability to obtain the license within 90 days of hire
- Experience communicating retirement plan concepts to participants, plan sponsors, or other stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of retirement plans and a general understanding of investment concepts
- Demonstrated ability to build strong client relationships and deliver exceptional customer service
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including confidence presenting to groups and facilitating educational discussions
What will make you really stand out
- Prior experience conducting retirement plan education workshops, enrollment meetings, or participant guidance sessions
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience (preferred)
- Offer familiarity with ERISA, retirement plan compliance, and fiduciary responsibilities
