Join Our Team as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Day Support/Community Inclusion

Looking for a meaningful role with a consistent weekday schedule? Join our team as a full-time Direct Support Professional (DSP) supporting individuals in day support and community inclusion programs.

In this role, you'll support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they build skills, explore interests, participate in community activities, and work toward personal goals. This position is a consistent Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm schedule, making it a great fit for someone who enjoys daytime hours, variety, and meaningful community-based work.

A Day in the Life

Your day will focus on helping individuals take part in meaningful activities both at our day support program and out in the community. Throughout the day, you may:

  • Support individuals during community outings such as visiting parks, libraries, coffee shops, grocery stores, thrift stores, farmers markets, community centers, local events, and seasonal activities
  • Assist individuals with recreational and social activities like bowling, crafts, cooking groups, music activities, walking clubs, picnics, games, and community classes
  • Help individuals participate in volunteer opportunities, attend community events, practice money skills while shopping, order food or drinks, use public spaces appropriately, and build confidence interacting with others
  • Help individuals build social, communication, safety, and daily living skills
  • Encourage choice, independence, and participation in activities that match each person's interests and goals
  • Provide positive behavior support using strategies you'll be trained on
  • Assist with personal care, mobility support, transportation, and documentation as needed
  • Work as part of a team to create a safe, respectful, and engaging daytime program environment

Some individuals may have behavioral support needs, and you'll receive hands-on training, guidance, and support from experienced team members to help promote safety, dignity, and positive outcomes.
