Job Summary

Designs, plans, develops, monitors, and updates electrical circuit and system layouts for electric power distribution
Prepares 2D/3D Computer Aided Design (CAD) drawings of moderate complexity for prefabrication and installation
Reviews drawings/documentation of basic to moderate complexity for compliance with project requirements
Performs bulk material take-off analysis and tabulations
Lays out points on project sites used for installation using Trimble Robotic Total Station
Adheres to industry codes and standards
Complies with all company/customer safety policies and procedures

Min. 5 years combined related-experience/education in CAD software
Experience with Revit and BIM
Proficient MS Office (WORD/EXCEL/Outlook) skills
Ability to understand/apply job-related concepts, technologies, instructions, procedures, and computer and software operations
Strong computer skills in all Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Thorough understanding of relevant industry standards, including NEC
Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.
