Job DetailsJob Location: Tigerville Campus - Tigerville, SC 29688Position Type: Full Time StaffEducation Level: 4 Year DegreeTravel Percentage: Up to 25%POSITION SUMMARY:  The Assistant Coach will support the Head Coach in all aspects of coaching, including the recruiting and evaluation of prospective student athletes, planning and conducting practices, preparing for games and competitions, and fostering a positive and safe environment. This role is vital in helping our student athletes achieve their full potential both on and off the field.   RESPONSIBILITIES: Recruiting and evaluating prospective student athletes On-campus and off-campus recruiting coordination Practice planning and on-field coaching instruction Individual player development and film review Scouting opponents and game preparation Breakdown and analysis of film, using HUDL, JustPlay and other platforms Game day operations and travel coordination Academic monitoring and mentorship of student-athletes Assisting with camps, clinics, fundraising, and alumni engagement Social media content creation and program promotion Equipment and operational organization Assisting with administrative duties including ARMS/Teamworks management and NCAA compliance Supporting the Head Coach in all aspects of building and sustaining a championship-caliber program   PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to hear well enough to communicate effectively with co-workers, vendors, and athletes. Frequently convey detailed or important coaching instructions and ideas accurately, clearly, and quickly. Ability to hit and pitch during practice/pregame. The capability to demonstrate and instruct during practices and games. Strong visual and auditory abilities to quickly and accurately assess performances to help recruit and evaluate during camps/clinics.     WORK SCHEDULE: The Assistant Coach is required to work according to athletic game schedules, meetings, and practices. This assistant coach schedule does not operate on a traditional work schedule.    TRAVEL:   Travel is required for away games and competitions.
