Dishwasher/Steward

The Dishwasher/Steward will be responsible washing dishes, keeping the kitchen clean, and helping other kitchen staff.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Load and unload dishes into and out of the dishwasher
• Wash and dry dishes, utensils, pots, and pans
• Sanitize dishes and utensils
• Maintain the dishwashing area
• Sweep or scrub floors
• Empty and clean trash receptacles
• Clean kitchen appliances and machines
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment and report sanitation issues.
• Buss tables to collect dirty dishes
• Help other staff with tasks
• Adhere to food safety procedures
• Put away all dishware and cookware in designated areas
• Stock supplies
• Set up the dining room

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting
• Strong communication and active listening skills required
