EPTAM Precision Plastics is looking for a Saw Operator - 2nd Shift to join our team in Northfield, NH.

POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Saw Operator is primarily responsible for preparation, set-up and operation of all saw equipment to meet overall production requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

•    Perform the setting up of all saw equipment to meet expected material cut size per work order.

•    Understand and verify information provided on the work order, material certs, and material match.

•    Perform in-process inspection for dimensions of parts produced and maintain documentation as required.

•    Keep count of parts and maintain accurate records in ERP, as well as other supporting documentation.

•    Issue material(s) to designated value stream for processing, when needed.

•    Process production orders as required.

•    Achieve a classification of Independent or higher on all Saw Operator competencies identified on the Saw Operator Competency Checklist HRF-02.31.

•    Employees must be able to relate to other people beyond receiving instructions. Can get along with co-workers or peers and respond appropriately to feedback from a supervisor in a professional manner. 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• EDUCATION: High School diploma, equivalent or trade school graduate preferred.
• EXPERIENCE: 1 year experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, saw operator experience preferred, but not required, equivalent combinations of education and experience accepted OR demonstrated ability to execute the Essential Functions for this position. Internships and PT experience acceptable.
• LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS AND/ REGISTRATIONS: Valid driver’s license, valid forklift operator license issued by EPTAM.
