Position Title: Food Safety and Quality Specialty 1st Shift (8am-4pm)
Type of Position: Full-time hourly, 40 hours/week
Rate:Â $18.00 - $20.00 (based on experience)
Position Summary:
This position reports directly to the Food Safety Manager and assist the Food Safety Manager in total management and upkeep of our Food Safe Policy and corresponding certification, SQF. This person will spend most of their time on the prep and packaging halls.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Daily Post-operation inspections supervision.
- Monitoring Critical control points.
- Managing company HACCP plan through collection of fully completed required documentation.
- Raw & Finished product evaluation (code dates, weight, quality, etc.).
- Pre-production label verification.
- Performing shelf-life evaluations.
- Monitoring GMP & Safety compliance of employees in production.
- Adhere to GSFI policies and procedures.
- Review SQF records and forms needed on the 1st shift.
- Must work safely at all times and comply with all safety policies and procedures.
- Comply with Michele's Granola's policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age to work in the warehouse.
- A minimum of 6 months to 1-year experience desired.
- Must be detailed oriented and have excellent follow up skills.
- Must be able to communicate in English (highly preferred).
- Must demonstrate basic math skills.
- Must be proficient in reading and writing.
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include holidays and weekends.
