An established and growing shop is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for a Field Service position based out of Ottsville PA. The Heavy Equipment Technician position offers competitive compensation, 401k, ample benefits and overtime.

 

Compensation

$60,000.00 – $85,000.00 annually to start. Benefits available after 30 days include:

Schedule

Day Shift, Monday – Friday; 7:00 am – 3:30 pm. Flexibility required to accommodate regular overtime.

 

Requirements

  • Travel locally (SE PA & NJ) fairly frequently; so a class B CDL is required.
  • Provide excellent customer service and clear communication
  • Knowledgeable in construction equipment from Komatsu, Caterpillar, CASE, Kubota, John Deere, etc. to diesel trucks by Peterbilt, Kenworth, Freightliner, Hino, Isuzu, etc.
  • Diagnosing, electrical, engine, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical issues.
  • Ability to read schematics and blueprints
  • Welding and fabrication
  • Recording and submitting accurate reports
  • Operate and test equipment
