Job Type: Full time, non-exempt Location: Tinley Park, 100% on-site

Position Summary:

This position will be responsible for assembly and testing of components that are used in the manufacturing of fiber optic gyroscopes in Tinley Park, IL

Key Responsibilities:

• Wind fiber around modulator using winding machine and benchtop magnifier.
• Apply adhesive with nematic dispenser and UV curing wand.
• Fiber handling.
• Torque requirements.
• Assemble modulators in coil assembly.
• Stock transactions.
• Operate Hene Laser.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Years of Experience: 0 to 1 year of relevant or similar experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Able to be at a workstation for extended periods of time, during each scheduled shift (7 AM to 3:30 PM).
• Practice safe operating procedures.
• Keep work area clean and report all safety hazards.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Salary:

The salary range for this position is $17 - $18 per hour depending on skillset and experience level.
