Service Cashier

Bettenhausen Automotive is looking to add a full time cashier to join our award winning team Bettenhausen Motor Sales, Inc. location in Tinley Park, IL.

Job Responsibilities

• Receipting monies collected for service repair orders, parts counter tickets, and vehicle sales
• Assist with scheduling and calling customers for service appointments
• Verify service and parts invoices are closed properly with the correct pay codes.
• Guaranteeing checks through the UTA guarantee system following policy guidelines
• Balancing the cash drawer and finalizing the deposit.
• Provide backup coverage for main reception desk
• Organize and file service and accounting files as needed; purge files when necessary.
• Light lifting

Full Time Position:

• Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4pm

Job Requirements:

We are looking for some one who is a team player, dependable, and can provide exceptional customer service.

• Must have a positive attitude
• Must provide exceptional customer service
• Previous cashier experience preferred
• Previous Automotive experience preferred
• Accounting knowledge is a plus!
• Proficient computer skills
• Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• High School Diploma or equivalent
