The Program Director II – Day Programming is a dynamic leadership role responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of day program operations. This position ensures the delivery of high-quality, person-centered services that promote engagement, independence, and well-being for program participants. The Director will lead a team of dedicated staff, manage operational resources, and foster strong relationships with families, community partners, and regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement engaging, person-centered programming tailored to participant needs and interests.
- Monitor program effectiveness and continuously improve service delivery.
- Oversee budgets, contracts, and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting systems.
- Recruit, train, and supervise program staff, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
- Provide ongoing coaching and performance evaluations.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for families, ensuring transparent communication and responsive support.
- Advocate for participant needs within the organization and broader community.
- Collaborate with government agencies, community organizations, and internal departments to enhance program visibility and impact.
- Represent the program in public forums and stakeholder meetings.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:Â
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Education, Social Work, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, preferably in day services or related settings.
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience.
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and budget management.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders and advocate effectively.
