RandallElectrical - Titusville iscurrently seeking qualified Commercial / Industrial Electricians to workon large projects along the Space Coast (Private Space Industry / CCSFS/ PAFB).
Position Summary
A commercial electrician specializes in the installation, testing, andtroubleshooting of electrical systems in commercial or industrial buildings.
Experience Required
- Three + years of combined experience in commercial / industrial electrical work
- GED or equivalent diploma
- Must be familiar with proper use of PPE and OSHA rules applicable to construction sites
Essential Functions / Qualifications
- Must be able to work well with others.
- Must have effective communication skills.
- Must be an excellent EMT conduit bender.
- Must be able to read blueprints and diagrams.
- Must be familiar with materials, equipment and devices commonly used in commercial electrical installations.
- Must be familiar with common wiring methods used on commercial electrical projects.
- Must be familiar with basic lighting control circuitry.
- Must be able to install and make terminations inside MDPs, panel-boards, VFDs, ATS and similar equipment.
- Must have good knowledge of NEC requirements for common installations in commercial / industrial projects.
- Capable of operating scissor lifts.
- Possessing a journeyman license is a plus but not necessary.
- OSHA 10/30 is a plus.
- Capable of operating Lull and excavation equipment is a plus.
- Valid Driver’s License: Must have a clean, insurable driving record (if position requires that you operate a Company Vehicle)
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Physical Requirements
This is primarily a Shop orField Jobsite job. You must be able tolift a dead weight of at least 50 pounds and stand on your feet forseveral hours at a time. You must also be able to bend, stretch, crouch, andlift as required by the job, be able to respond quickly to sounds, seeand respond to dangerous situations, and properly wear personal protectivegear.
