RANDALL Construction's Mechanical & Plumbing division is seeking is seeking experienced Plumbers to work on large-scale commercial / industrial construction projects along the Space Coast of Florida. Join a growing team working on exciting aerospace, industrial, healthcare, manufacturing, and institutional construction projects.

 

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for the installation and testing of plumbing systems in commercial, industrial, institutional, aerospace, and manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and experienced in reading blueprints, installing a variety of piping systems, and delivering high-quality workmanship while meeting project schedules.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Install and assemble commercial and industrial plumbing systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Install above ground and underground piping systems
  • Work with cast iron, copper, PVC, CPVC, steel, and specialty piping materials
  • Install fixtures, equipment connections, pumps, valves, and supports
  • Perform pressure testing and system inspections
  • Collaborate with foremen, project managers, and other trades to maintain project schedules
  • Maintain compliance with all company and jobsite safety requirements
  • Deliver high-quality workmanship while meeting production goals

Desired Qualification Requirements and Attributes:

  • Commercial or industrial plumbing experience required
  • Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
  • Knowledge of plumbing codes and industry best practices
  • Experience with large-scale construction projects preferred
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently in active construction environments
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout the Space Coast region
  • OSHA certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
  • Experience working on aerospace and government projects preferred
  • Ability to pass a national security background check and drug screening

Physical Requirements:

This is primarily a Shop or Field Jobsite job.  You must be able to lift a dead weight of at least 50 pounds and stand on your feet for several hours at a time. You must also be able to bend, stretch, crouch, and lift as required by the job, be able to respond quickly to sounds, see and respond to dangerous situations, and properly wear personal protective gear.
