About the Position
Marin Gastroenterology is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to join our growing physician team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to practice high-quality, patient-centered gastroenterology in a collaborative, physician-led environment serving Marin and Sonoma Counties.
The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive gastrointestinal care across both inpatient and outpatient settings, including consultations, endoscopic procedures, and longitudinal patient management. - Provide comprehensive gastroenterology care within the full scope of practice.
- Perform inpatient consultations at MarinHealth Medical Center and Novato Community Hospital.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients in the outpatient clinic setting.
- Perform endoscopic and other GI procedures at affiliated hospitals and ambulatory surgery center.
- Participate in shared cross-coverage for physician colleagues as needed.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation within the electronic health record.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and staff to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement and practice development initiatives
Employment Status & Schedule
This is a full-time W-2 employed physician position offering a competitive salary, productivity-based wRVU incentives, comprehensive benefits, generous PTO, CME support, and eligibility for partnership consideration after one year of employment.
- Full-time salaried position
- Four (4) clinical days per week
- One (1) dedicated administrative day per week
- Shared call responsibilities among physicians

Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology (ABIM)
- Active California medical license or ability to obtain
- Current DEA registration
- Eligibility for medical staff membership and privileges at MarinHealth Medical Center and Novato Community Hospital
- Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient-centered care
- Maintain good standing with all credentialing and licensing organizations
- Adhere to Marin Gastroenterology policies, procedures, and professional standards
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all applicable federal and state regulations
- Maintain all required certifications, licenses, hospital privileges, and credentials
Compensation & Benefits
Marin Gastroenterology offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:
- Salary Range: $450,000 - $650,000 (Base Salary of $450,000 annually + Productivity Bonuses)
- Compensation will be based on experience, training, clinical expertise, and overall qualifications.
- In addition to a competitive base salary, physicians are eligible for productivity-based incentive compensation tied to work Relative Value Units (wRVUs). The productivity bonus program rewards clinical productivity and practice growth, allowing physicians to increase total annual compensation based on established wRVU thresholds and performance benchmarks.
