PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT:

Responsible for operating the scale to weigh incoming and outgoing agricultural products, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and performing various administrative tasks to support the agronomy department. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 

Operates the scale to weigh trucks and agricultural products accurately 

Record and maintain weight data in the system 

Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures during weighing process 

Keeps all office supplies stocked and office equipment in working order 

Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service 

Maintain organized files and documentation 

Support the agronomy team with scheduling and coordinating deliveries and pickups 

Maintains customer account information in multiple software systems and data management  

Performs various accounting functions. Collects deposits or payments as they are received and assists with customer statement reconciliation.  

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS 

Report any discrepancies or issues to the appropriate personnel. 

Occasionally may be asked to drive and run local errands as requested. 

May be required to cross-train and substitute for other administrative positions. 

Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply. 

Performs all other duties as assigned. 

REQUIREMENTS 

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in agriculture or related field is a plus. 

Demonstrate essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development. 

Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record. 

Work is conducted mainly in a typical office environment, with slight exposure to other warehousing or storage facilities with generally satisfactory conditions, sometimes in a noisy, open area while interacting with team members and serving customer’s needs.  

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
