The Cognitive Skills Specialist will be responsible for providing treatment to residents through assessments and group facilitation and maintaining appropriate documentation. The incumbent will utilize the cognitive behavioral model during all interactions with residents.

Preferred applicants will have a High School Diploma or GED. Education and verifiable work experience with at-risk populations is required (i.e. homeless, veterans, behavioral health, drug/alcohol addiction, employment, youth, residential).  Must be able to exhibit an ability to engage or intervene with residents experiencing crisis. An Associate’s degree in the area of human and/or social services or behavioral sciences preferred. Â
