Customer Service Representative
Location: Metzgers – Toledo, OH Office

Metzgers is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will support our customers by responding to inquiries, providing order updates, and maintaining strong product knowledge to ensure an exceptional service experience.
The ideal candidate brings a customer-first mindset, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality interactions.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to incoming calls and emails addressing customer questions, requests, and issues.
  • Advise customers on how to best utilize our products and services based on their individual needs.
  • Serve as a product expert, ensuring all information shared with customers is accurate, current, and helpful.
  • Document customer interactions in internal systems to support cross‑functional visibility and relationship management.
  • Generate job tickets for production and fulfillment of customer orders.
  • Act as the first point of contact for technical support inquiries.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Associate degree/diploma in Business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1–2 years of proven experience in customer support or client success.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a positive, solutions‑oriented attitude.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong time‑management and prioritization skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems.
