Greenskeeper - Salishan Coastal Lodge

We are looking for a golf course greenskeeper to help maintain the landscaping of our award-winning golf course and coastal lodge.This individual will be responsible for all golf course and resort maintenance practices. This person will assist the rest of the team with the cleaning and overall presentation of the golf course and the areas surrounding the resort. This person is a lover of the great outdoors, can work in any weather conditions, and don’t mind getting your hands dirty. .

$18 per hour

The Role:

• Previous experience with landscaping or maintenance preferred but not required
• All tractor-related operations, course mowing, aerifying, loader, side blower, and resort landscaping tools
• Golf Course Services and Set-Up
• Grooming Greens, Tees, and Fairways
• Visually inspect golf course conditions and report findings
• Ability to use walking and riding mowers / blowers / weedeaters / edgers
• Hand Raking and Plant Watering
• Assistance with fertilizer application
• Divot Filling and Mixing of Materials
• Removal of fallen debris on property if needed
• This position requires heavy physical lifting, labor, that requires bending, lifting, stooping, kneeling, climbing, standing, pushing, pulling in an outdoor environment with potential exposure to inclement weather
• Working amongst chemicals and fertilizers
• Ability to lift 50 to 100 lbs if needed
• Reports equipment issues to supervisor and manager
• Should have a mechanical aptitude and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Maintain an open line of communication with supervisors, managers, and all communication needs that will benefit the lodge and department
• Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit

The Essentials:

• Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with urgency and empathy.
• 1+ Year experience in landscaping, golf-maintenance preferred
