Scale Master/Waste Checker

Purpose: The Waste Checker is required to ensure compliance through adhering to procedures to properly checking in all incoming waste to the facility

Specific Duties:

• Responsible for engaging in and promoting safe work behaviors in a manner that is consistent with all CC safety guidelines
• Work with customers to ensure the receipt of manifests prior to receipt of the load
• Review manifests for accuracy and completeness.
• Work with customer to ensure all omissions and inaccuracies are resolved before the receipt of the load.
• Enter load data into Waste tracking system prior to receipt of the load.
• Create file and maintain load packets
• Assist with outbound load tracking and packet creation.
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Core Competencies and Specific Skills:

• Strong communication skills, attention to details, and strong initiative to complete tasks
• Ability to operate equipment such as mobile phone, scanners, computers, etc.
• Crystal Clean Management System (CCMS) experience preferred

Education, Certificates, Licenses, or Designations:

• High School diploma or equivalent required

Pay range: $23.00-$24.60 per hour

Work Environment*:

While performing essential duties of this position an individual regularly works in a variety of environments, and is required to see, talk, hear, reach, stand, walk, drive frequently, and comfortably use electronic devices and other office equipment. Essential duties require bending, squatting, climbing, lifting and twisting frequently. Noise level in the workplace can vary based upon the work environment.
