Prerequisites: 

  • Wisconsin State Indentured Journeyperson Pipefitter or Millwright preferred.
  • 4 or more years of experience in the capacity of a welder.
  • NTC welder/fabricator journeyperson course and card. This will be required to pass and complete after the time of hire if it is not possessed already.
  • Experience in code (ASME & AWS) compliant welds using GTAW, SMAW, and FCAW processes to include in the 6G position. Both carbon and stainless steel.
  • Successful candidates must prove competent in NBIC required ASME code welding procedures in the above-mentioned processes within their 60-day probationary period.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Must possess high school diploma or G.E.D.

 

The individuals who are successful at obtaining this position will be required to:

  • Follow all established facility safety rules and policies.
  • Uphold all company policies and procedures.
  • Own or obtain tools necessary for the job.
  • Must be willing to work any shift assigned, including holidays and weekends, and accept call-ins and overtime outside of the normal workday.
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors.
  • Further development of skills by accepting and successfully completing trainings.
  • The successful candidate may be required to work shift work in the future.
  • Must be willing to work closely on a day-to-day basis with other production personnel.

  • Ability to share ideas with others to solve problems of essential importance.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Work with a sense of urgency to reduce downtime of machines.

 

 

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

 

  • Starting salary for position: $37.18 per hour. 
  • Paid Vacation: Based on the contractual agreement.
  • Paid Holidays.
  • Within the first 30 days of employment, an employee (and their dependents) is eligible to enroll in certain benefit coverages -- medical, dental, and vision – and are automatically enrolled in life, AD&D, and disability coverages.
  • Upon hire, an employee is automatically enrolled in the 401k plan. The plan offers both pre-tax and Roth contribution options along with employer provided matching contributions.
