Job DetailsJob Location: PAINT SHOP - TOMBALL, TX 77377Job Title:             Blaster/Painter  Reports to:    Coating Manager   Pay Schedule:  Hourly/non-exempt                 SUMMARY: Performs all day to day activities as instructed by the Coatings Manager, to support paint production, warehouse and production  operations.    REQUIRED Essential duties and responsibilities:    Clean and prepare parts for paint following established procedures.  Blast parts as required per coatings specification.  Stencil parts as required.  Read, interpret and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineered drawings, specifications and other written instructions or procedures to  accurately coat equipment or products.  Mix paint per coating specifications as instructed in work order.  Load parts or equipment for paint on racks or tables.  Hang or place parts for coating process in designated areas.  Coat parts as instructed in work order or as directed by supervisor.  Perform quality checks as required during coatings applications.  Mask parts as required per customer drawings or instructions.  Touch up, unmask and place completed parts on shipping pallets.  Perform routine maintenance on equipment daily or as instructed.  Upkeep of paint booths including storage cabinets and mixing room.  Confer with supervisor regarding quality or procedure problems.  Clock in on all applicable work orders.  Monitor and submit request for shop tools and supplies.  Move products or equipment by use of forklift.  Upkeep and cleanliness of work areas.  Follow company safety & security guidelines  Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this job.  Other duties as needed.
