Position Purpose The Service Solutions Representative is responsible for growing Clifford Power's new Planned Maintenance Agreement (PMA) customers while retaining and expanding existing maintenance agreements within an assigned territory. This role focuses on understanding each customer's operational needs and recommending customized maintenance programs that maximize equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and protect critical power assets.   Success in this position is measured by the ability to develop new customer business, retain existing accounts, grow recurring service revenue, and consistently deliver exceptional customer service. Essential Job Functions Business Development Prospect, identify, and develop new Planned Maintenance Agreement (PMA) opportunities within the assigned territory. Generate new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, customer visits, and strategic account development. Conduct customer site visits to evaluate equipment, identify maintenance needs, and uncover opportunities for recurring service agreements. Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline while consistently pursuing new business opportunities. Planned Maintenance Agreement Sales Prepare and present customized Planned Maintenance Agreement proposals based on each customer's equipment, operating environment, and maintenance requirements. Recommend maintenance solutions that improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and support the customer's operational goals. Negotiate pricing and contract terms while maintaining company profitability objectives. Successfully close new maintenance agreements and achieve assigned sales goals. Customer Retention Manage the renewal process to maximize customer retention and recurring revenue. Identify opportunities to expand maintenance agreements as customer needs evolve. Sales Administration Maintain accurate customer records, sales activities, opportunities, and forecasts within the company's CRM system. Submit required sales reports, forecasts, and activity updates in a timely manner. Assist with branch marketing initiatives and customer outreach efforts. Collaborate with Service Managers, Coordinators, and Operations personnel to ensure successful execution of maintenance agreements. Additional Responsibilities Maximize customer-facing selling time through effective territory planning and time management. Build and maintain customer relationships based on trust and responsiveness. Identify and communicate additional sales opportunities discovered during customer interactions. Achieve assigned sales quotas and recurring revenue objectives. Produce year-over-year territory growth. Participate in sales meetings, product training, and company initiatives. Travel throughout the assigned territory with minimal overnight travel (less than 10%). Scope of Role Primary focus is selling and renewing Planned Maintenance Agreements (PMAs). This position does not estimate or quote repair work, emergency service calls, or time-and-material service projects. Those opportunities are coordinated with the appropriate service personnel. Success is measured by new PMA sales, customer retention, YOY PMA growth, and long-term customer relationships. QualificationsEducation: High School Education or equivalent  Bachelors Degree Experience: Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience, preferably in the emergency power generation industry Basic knowledge of diesel and natural gas engine generators or electrical knowledge is a strong plus. Required: Proven track record of closing sales and obtaining new business Strong relationship maintenance Excellent customer follow-up Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Possess a strong sense of urgency and drive for success Must work well in a team environment Excellent customer follow-up, attention to detail and organizational skills Be strongly driven by customer satisfaction and retention Clifford Power Systems, Inc. offers competitive compensation and benefits including medical, dental & vision insurance, 401(k), paid vacation, and paid holidays. The Compensation Plan for this position includes a base salary plus commission with no earnings limitations.
