JOB PURPOSE聽
The Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) provides recovery-oriented support services to individuals receiving treatment for substance use disorders at Renew360掳.聽 The Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) serves as a positive role model, assists clients in navigating treatment and recovery resources, promotes engagement in services, and supports the clinical team in delivering person-centered treatment. The role combines direct client support, recovery coaching, and case management assistance. 聽

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Recovery Support Services
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Provide peer-based and recovery-oriented support to individuals throughout the treatment process.聽
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Assist clients in identifying recovery goals and developing individualized recovery plans.聽
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Encourage participation in treatment activities, support groups, and recovery-oriented services.聽
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Promote hope, empowerment, self-advocacy, and personal responsibility.聽
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Support clients in accessing community resources, housing, employment, education, transportation, and healthcare services.聽
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Provide educational groups to clients as designated by the Executive Director, and the Clinical Director managing the organizational schedule.聽

Client Engagement

Professional Development

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽High school diploma or GED required.聽
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Public Health, or related field preferred.聽

Credentialing
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS), Certified Recovery Support Practitioner (CRSP), or equivalent credential preferred.聽

Experience
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Experience working with individuals affected by substance use disorders preferred.聽
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Lived recovery experience may be considered a valuable qualification when consistent with program needs and organizational policy.聽
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Experience in behavioral health, human services, healthcare, or social services preferred.聽
