Bright Harbor Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Children's Program Supervisor to oversee and manage programs focused on the mental health and well-being of children and families. The supervisor will provide leadership and clinical oversight to program staff, ensuring effective delivery of services, compliance with regulations, and continuous quality improvement. This role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to support children and families in achieving positive outcomes.

The Children's Program Supervisor will be responsible for the oversight of Children's Outpatient, Intensive In Community Services (IIC), and Supervised Visitation.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support clinical and program staff serving children and families for Outpatient, IIC and Supervised Visitation
  • Oversee program implementation, adherence to policies, and quality assurance
  • Manage scheduling, staff development, and performance evaluations
  • Conduct assessments, formulate diagnosis and preliminary treatment plan
  • Facilitate the referrals of those clients requiring a mental health/substance abuse screening and ensure appropriate follow up
  • Provide regularly scheduled supervision to staff on an as needed basis in response to hands on situations or crisis
  • Monitor the adequacy and appropriateness of the Comprehensive Treatment Plan, Treatment Reviews, Termination Summaries, and other medical record documentation submitted by supervisees
  • Perform outreach services as needed
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders and community partners
  • Ensure compliance with licensing, accreditation, and funding requirements
  • Assist in program development and evaluation to meet client needs
  • Other related duties as assigned
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field
  • Active LCSW, LPC, or equivalent clinical license
  • ACS (LPC) or Clinical Supervisor Course Completion (LCSW) preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in clinical and supervisory roles within child and family services
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices
