Join Stress Care of New Jersey and work alongside a dynamic, caring, and mission-driven team dedicated to supporting individuals in behavioral health and addiction recovery.

Stress Care of New Jersey is a licensed Behavioral Health and Addiction Treatment Center accredited by The Joint Commission. We provide a full continuum of outpatient services, including psychiatric evaluations, medication management, therapy, group therapy, intensive outpatient programs, and partial care across multiple New Jersey locations.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist with 1–3 years of HR experience to support day-to-day HR operations, with a strong focus on recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and HR administration in a healthcare environment.

This role requires strong attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for open positions, including sourcing, screening, scheduling, and conducting initial interviews
  • Coordinate and facilitate onboarding, orientation, and new hire documentation
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR files
  • Support employee relations by addressing basic concerns and escalating issues when appropriate
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, employment laws, and healthcare regulatory requirements (State of NJ, Joint Commission, etc.)
  • Assist with HR administrative tasks such as personnel updates, benefits coordination, and reporting
  • Support HR initiatives across multiple locations as needed
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all employee and organizational matters

Required Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in Human Resources (required)
  • Experience in recruiting and onboarding (required)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
  • Experience in a healthcare or behavioral health setting preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently while supporting a team environment
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail
