Forklift Operator

Lornamead is currently seeking a Forklift Operator to join our team! 

 2st shift 3:00 p.m.-11:30 p.m. M-F

Lornamead Products manufactures and supplies, hair care, skin care, oral care, and bath products in America.  The company offers toothpastes, teeth whitening products and oral analgesics for drug chains, and national food retailers.  

Your Challenge: 

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move products safely and efficiently within the warehouse.
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper stacking and securing of goods to prevent damage during transit.
• Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and assist with cycle counts as needed.
• Follow all safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
• Support various warehouse functions such as pick lists, return to stock, prepping finished goods for shipment, etc.
• Opens boxes and inspects contents of shipments
• Processes returns for any defective or incorrect items
• Ensures that warehouse is clean and organized
• Processes transfers for shipments moving on to another location

Qualifications: 

• 1-5 years warehouse experience
• High School diploma
• Basic Microsoft Office Skills
• Forklift experience
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Standing/walking for long periods of time
