Cashiers and Porters

LV Petroleum is a fast-growing company in the fuel and convenience services sector, dedicated to providing the best customer experiences. We are looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented Cashiers & Porters to join our team and help us continue to deliver exceptional service at our locations.

As a Cashier, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our customers have a positive shopping experience. You will be responsible for processing transactions accurately, assisting customers with their inquiries, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Provide exceptional service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with purchases.
• Transaction Management: Accurately process cash, credit, and debit transactions through the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Store Maintenance: Keep the cashier area and surrounding space tidy and presentable for customers.
• Product Knowledge: Stay informed about promotions and product offerings to provide information to customers as needed.
• Team Collaboration: Work with fellow team members to enhance service efficiency and operational productivity.
• Inventory Tasks: Assist in monitoring stock levels and restock items as needed.

The Porter role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for both our customers and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks in various areas including restrooms, break rooms, and public spaces.
• Maintain cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Empty trash receptacles and maintain waste disposal systems.
• Assist in minor maintenance tasks and report any significant repairs needed to management.
• Help set up and tear down for events or meetings when needed.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests and assisting with inquiries as necessary.

Experience: Prior experience in cashiering or customer service is desirable, but not mandatory.

Skills: Proficient math skills for handling cash transactions.

Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.

Reliability: Must be dependable and flexible, with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Positive Attitude: A friendly and engaging demeanor to create a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
