NAT-SU Healthcare is seeking a driven, organized, and self-motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources team. In this role, you’ll leverage your recruiting and communication skills to review resumes, prescreen candidates, and support hiring across a variety of positions. Job Duties and Responsibilities


Core Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.
  • Proactively source diverse and passive candidates using creative strategies, market research, and networking.
  • Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Review applications, conduct phone screens, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
  • Initiate and maintain relationships with candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Provide an exceptional candidate and client experience from initial contact through hire.
  • Coordinate and participate in job fairs and community outreach efforts.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with schools, alumni groups, and professional organizations.

Program / Service Support

  • Assist in creating and maintaining job postings.
  • Prepare and extend employment offers upon approval.
  • Support onboarding processes, including participation in new hire orientation.
  • Ensure timely and consistent communication with candidates throughout recruitment and onboarding.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of recruiting strategies, processes, and overall talent acquisition initiatives.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate and employee records in the ATS and HRIS systems.
  • Ensure data integrity across all recruitment tracking and reporting systems.
  • Conduct reference checks and background screenings; validate candidate information.
  • Maintain employee files and ensure all required documentation is complete and compliant.
  • Generate and distribute weekly and monthly staffing and recruiting reports.
  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics to measure effectiveness.
  • Scan and file documents in appropriate employee records.

Other Duties

  • Support HR administrative functions as needed.
  • Assist with special projects and initiatives led by HR leadership.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the HR department and organizational goals.

Education and Experience

  • 2+ years of recruiting and/or HR experience.
  • Experience with ATS and HRIS systems; ADP and Indeed preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, including handling confidential information.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Healthcare industry experience is a plus.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of full-cycle recruiting practices, employment processes, and hiring regulations.
  • Experience with ATS and HRIS systems; familiarity with ADP and Indeed preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to track, interpret, and improve recruitment metrics.
  • High attention to detail and strong time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Healthcare industry knowledge or experience preferred but not required.

Work Schedule

  • Full – Time, 40 hours per week

Physical Requirements (if applicable)

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time while working at a computer.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods as needed.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
