Short Description
What You'll have
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
4 years of accounting experience
Prior supervisory experience
Strong knowledge of accounting procedures for accounts receivables, accounts payable and payroll
Must possess an understanding of general accepted accounting principles and internal controls
What You'll Do
Provide leadership and support to administrative and operational management
Provide in-depth accounting support of all accounting functions including accounts receivable, payroll,accounts payable, customer work management and job costing
Ensure accurate recording and recognition of revenue
Develop and maintain a strong understanding of current projects
Identify and implement process improvements/efficiencies
Assist with contract bid preparations
Provide weekly and monthly financial reports to leadership
Assist in cross-training administrative staff
Maintain open communications with customers, vendors, superintendents and other staff
Verify internal consistency, completeness, and mathematical accuracy of accounting documents
Lead in the compilation of information related to internal and external audit requests and inquires
Act as backup to the supervisor when needed
Other duties as requested by leadership

Work Environment
- Work is performed in a typical indoor office environment
- Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice
- Must be able to read documents, use a computer, communicate verbally and in writing
- Mobility required within an office, warehouse and construction site environments
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
Legal Stuff
- Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens
