Responsibilities
- The Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist assists physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures and monitors and records hemodynamics.Â
- Ensures equipment is functioning and troubleshoots equipment to provide quality diagnostic and therapeutic exams.Â
- Maintains an up-to-date knowledge of cardiovascular and peripheral technology and hemodynamics to assist the physicians effectively.Â
- Provides quality customer service to patients, families, and coworkers to create a professional and respectful environment.Â
- Participates in the training and mentoring of employees and students.Â
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Current Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Radiologic Technologist by the ARRT
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Preferred Job Requirements:Â Â
- 1 year or more of experience working in the cath lab or interventional radiology
