Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic-quality CT imaging procedures to enhance patient care.
  • Consistently practice radiation safety along with dose reduction when appropriate.
  • Provide education to patients on radiologic procedures and safety protocols.
  • Ensure accuracy of ordered exam and compliance with workflow guidelines per policy.
  • Answer department phones professionally and complete scanning documentation as required.

Qualifications

Job Requirements: 

  • Associate degree from an accredited school of radiology technology 
  • Registered by the ARRT (R)
  • Kansas State Board of Healing Arts License 
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
