As an Inventory Controller at Wieland Designs, you'll play a key role in ensuring our manufacturing teams have the right materials at the right time. Your work directly supports production, customer satisfaction, and inventory accuracy. What You'll Do Monitor production schedules and material needs to support on-time manufacturing. Ensure materials are available when production needs them. Perform weekly cycle counts while maintaining at least 95% inventory accuracy. Coordinate and process inventory non-conformances. Record supplier performance information according to company procedures. Partner with production supervisors and purchasing to resolve material shortages and delivery issues. Operate forklifts and powered pallet jacks safely after company certification. Assist with shipping, receiving, and manufacturing support as business needs require. Help maintain accurate inventory records and continuous material flow. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Detail-oriented and highly organized. Dependable with excellent attendance. Comfortable performing basic math calculations. Able to communicate effectively with coworkers across departments. Comfortable using Windows-based computer systems. Willing to work a flexible schedule when production demands require. Able to safely operate or learn to operate forklifts and powered pallet jacks. Physical Requirements This position includes: Standing and walking for most of the workday. Frequently lifting 10–40 pounds and occasionally up to 80 pounds. Repetitive reaching, grasping, and moving materials. Working in a manufacturing environment that is not air-conditioned. Exposure to light fabric dust and typical manufacturing noise.
