This role requires a strong attention to detail, skilled use of various band saws, drills, punches, and hand tools, the ability to interpret complex drawings, and adaptability to rapidly changing project demands. Successful performance in this role requires strict adherence to safety and quality standards, craftsmanship, initiative, and daily communication.  Primary Duties and Responsibilities Perform fabrication tasks including cutting, grinding, drilling, and punching on various kinds of material. Read, interpret, and complete work from drawings, sketches, custom specifications, or verbal direction. Verify correctness of parts using tape measures, squares, calipers, templates, and other measuring tools. Maintain a clean and organized working environment that is aligned with safety and expectations Follow all safety procedures, proper PPE use, and equipment operation guidelines Assist other departments as needed when workload or priorities shift. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Experience operating CNC machinery, beamlines, or similar automated fabrication equipment. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and fabrication drawings. Experience operating overhead cranes and forklifts Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine equipment maintenance. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
