Responsibilities

  • Performs delivery of care following occupational therapy plans of care, and assures delivery of prescribed care to assigned patients consistent with standards of practice defined by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and the occupational therapy practice act in the State of Kansas.
  • Provides direction and clinical supervision to clinical support staff.
  • Promotes occupational therapy services and fosters professional development throughout the organization and the surrounding community. Reports directly to the designated department leader.

Qualifications

Job Requirements: 

  • Associates degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Active Occupational Therapist Assistant license in State of Kansas.
  • CPR certification.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements: 

  • Previous medical setting or rehabilitation setting experience
