The Phlebotomist functions as a laboratory professional who performs specimen collection techniques or specimen collection instructions that include; venipuncture, capillary draws, urine collection instruction and specimen culture collection instruction.Â
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited phlebotomy/medical assistant program with clinicals or previous phlebotomy experience.Â
- Experience working in the clinical setting.Â
